Simple Installation. The LED light strips in this Interior Courtesy Lighting Kit feature pre-installed 3M bonding tape on the back for easy installation under the dash or seats. This kit gets its power from a cigarette lighter plug. Needs to be turned on and off by pressing the red button on the end. You can turn the lights on and off with remote, but the red button stays lit up. The remote only works in direct line of site with wire coming from control box. If it doesn't have direct line of site cannot change light pattern or color. Wires could be a little longer for more options. Grandkids love the lights connected to music changing colors with the beat. All in all, inexpensive lighting to the interior of the bronco which needs help. System could be improved but that's probably the $100 kit not this $10 kit. For the price it's a five star.

This is a simple upgrade (plug and play) that adds nice, bright, customizable interior courtesy lighting. You plug it into one of the cigarette lighter outlets and run the LED light strips (flexible with adhesive tape) under the dash and/or seats. If you take a little extra time, you can run the wires behind the molding and/or under the carpets and mats for a clean install.
The set comes with four light strips: I mounted one under the front dash on both the driver and passenger sides and one under each front seat to provide some courtesy light for the backseat passengers. I used the adhesive tape to mount the LED strips and added a few zip-ties for added security. Note: be careful to run the wires so that they do not interfere with the seat rails.
The set comes with a remote control and an IR sensor so you can remotely change the LED colors. It also has multiple settings that alternates colors and flashes along with the music.
