Under Hood Light Kit. Working under the hood of your car or truck at night can be difficult, that's why you should install an Axial LED Under Hood Lighting Kit. This Under Hood Lighting Kit features two powerful white LED panels that will illuminate your engine bay with plenty of light making it much easier to check for issues or top off your fluids.

Simple Installation. Axial designed their LED Under Hood Lighting Kit to be simple to install. Adhere the lights in an optimal spot on the underside of your hood with the included adhesive tape. Then route the harness to the battery being sure to avoid hot and moving parts. The Lights operate with an inline switch that is build into the included harness. Thoroughly clean all surfaces before installation to ensure proper adhesion.

Application. This Axial LED Under Hood Lighting Kit features a universal design that can be installed on all vehicles, some adaptation may be required.

This install came out really well mainly because I took a lot of time to mount the lights and route the wiring. If you take your time and attach the wiring under the hood and follow the contours of the underhood insulation pad/cover it will look like a pro install. I pretty much took an afternoon to do it so I could check and double-check it all. One warning: Watch where you put the switch, there's areas under the hood where it can be switched on when the hood is closed - can cause unwanted battery drain.

The lights are bright, and illuminate the engine area well.
If you take the time to put these lights in correctly, they do look nice and you'll have no issues shutting your hood. Be careful of where you route the wires because the hood insulation retainers can get in the way.

Toughest part is finding a good location for the switch.
Wish it had an automatic switch (i.e, mercury switch. So, it would come on whenever you opened the hood. Due to supplied pre-wired switch location the switch ends up in a location with insufficient hood clearance in the GT350. Had to splice additional length of wire to relocate switch which is pretty thick in construction. other than that, I'm happy with how it looks.
