I went with the clear housing after reading reviews that the lights with the smoked housing were too dim. These are beyond easy to install. The lights alone would probably be about 30-45 minutes, but I was also installing my trailering light harness at the same time, so that was a bit more involved. The lights look AWESOME and are super bright compared the the stock halogen tail lights. My only complaint is the clips provided for mounting the resistor bracket to the pinch weld were different than in the instructions, so I had to figure those out on my own. The 3 year Raxiom warranty is a plus!

People, these tail lights are beautiful. Change the look of the Jeep. One important note: when you connect lights, you will have a malfunction when you turn on the lights. THE WAY TO FIX IT: just unplug the lights and plug in back. No need to reprogram anything. Product recommended
