Raxiom LED Third Brake Light; Chrome (99-04 Mustang, Excluding 03-04 Cobra)

Easy install, really makes them pop and great replace for my faded looking own third light.

The build quality and overall look of the light on my vehicle is absolutely great, but I personally made some avoidable mistakes that made the install longer than expected.
1. In the process of loosening a nut, I somehow unscrewed the top of the screw from the old light itself. This essentially left a screw sticking through the trunk that I had to clamp down to loosen the nut on.
2. I had to use needle nose pliers to squeeze the metal "prongs" on the male part of the connection so that they would fit in the female end. I also had to use a flathead to push the metal connection points on the female end to the sides so that the prongs would fit in, but it's a fairly easy process.
3. I somehow lost a 10 mil attatchment into the panel of the trunk. If you're working with a loose attatchment, just be careful when loosening/tightening nuts so that you don't drop it into the frame.

Obviously none of these 3 things were caused by the product, just some words of advice. Highly recommend it!

Didn’t fit right to the connection right had to mod it a bit but works and looks good

This is my third brake light that I bought ... The first two were eBay knockoffs. The wiring on the first two brake lights were thin and one ripped off while installing. So I try these racing on third brake lights and they were well designed. The plastic almost looks like glass. And they shine super red. This third brake light is a must Buy!!

The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because the original lighting harness did not fasten into the new brake light correctly, we had to use electrical tape to tape the light connector pieces, from the harness, into the light sockets on the brake light. The lights came on and shone bright, quick installation (other than the taping part), and the fit was perfect.
